This species hails from Ecuador as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte that is found at an altitude of 700-1200 meters in very wet montane forests with flattened, ovate, light green pseudobulbs subtended by 2 to 3 distichous, imbricating foliaceous sheaths with 2 thin, obovate, obtuse, apiculate leaves that are heavily veined on the underside, deciduous , basally clasping leaves that blooms on a basal, pendant, 10" [to 25 cm] long, 3 to 7 flowered inflorescence arising on a mature pseudobulb enveloped by 3 to 5 tubular, inflated sheaths and having tubular floral bracts enclosing the ovary occuring in the fall through spring.

s automatickým zvlhcováním vzduchu na 80-90%. Substrát je trvale vlhký,
hrubozrnný (cástice 10-15 mm), namíchaný z kury, polystyrenu, dreveného
uhlí, stríhaného suchého bukového listí a suchého raseliníku. Hnojíme na
list, ale velmi slabe, jednou mesícne pres jaro a léto. Napsal jsem o té
rostline clánek také do nemeckého casopisu Die Orchidee. Citace:

)takovej malej kvetinac. a oni ti ji pridali jako herrerae? koukam ze je nejaka bila,ale to jsi psal.hmm ted nevim co udelat,moc ji chci ale chtel bych tu ruzovou ,ta se mi libi vice.asi jim jdu napsat
